This is made of a core thread wrapped with copper thread for goldwork and embroidery projects. This is finer than Japanese thread and has a more wire like feel to it.

To use, couch down with a strong sewing thread at even intervals (about every 2-3mm). The ends will need to be 'plunged' through to the back and finished off.

Available in size number 6 this order is for 2 x 3m lengths (allows you to couch over two strands together). 

Also available in silver plated & gilt.
