Opus Anglicanum (English work) embroidery is a medieval embroidery technique incorporating underside couching and split stitch shading. The 'Thanet Sun' kit is inspired by the 'John of Thanet' panel in the Vicotria and Albert Museum collections and is perfect for the beginner to these historical techniques.
This materials kit includes linen fabric with the design screen printed on, backing fabric, embroidery and gold threads, beeswax, needles and comprehensive instructions.
