Make your own shisha mirrors (just cut to shape with a pair of sharp paper scissors) or use as they are to give your textile projects some extra shine!
These pieces of glass are hand made mirror pieces from the Kutch region of Gujarat, India. The glass is blown into a balloon then broken up into smaller pieces so they do have a slight curve to them, they are not flat! The embroiderers cut them into small round mirrors using a sharp pair of paper scissors. The smaller the piece the flatter it will be.
You will receive one medium sized piece weighing 6-9 grams, see photos for approximate size of glass pieces (because they are hand made, the glass and the silvering on the back varies in texture and thickness hence the difference in weight.)
These mirror pieces are quite brittle; while we will do our utmost to make sure they arrive in one piece.
Smaller pieces available in 10 gram pots.
Warning: These are pieces of broken glass, therefore they are very sharp folks! Please be super careful when handling them and keep them sealed and out of reach of kiddies. You can clean up any really sharp edges with a pair of scissors or a nail file.
