    There are new kits also, including my new beadwork kit, 'The wheels on the bus'! Celebrate London in 2012 by stitching your own red London bus! And while the country celebrates, why not add a Union Jack flag mini bunting kit to your celebrations? Easy to make, you can either glue or sew.

    And for those of you interested in goldwork, there is a new set full of essential items for your goldwork embroidery. The set includes goldwork serrated scissors, a mellor, beeswax, sewing thread, needle, felt padding, string padding and samples of 4 types of gold for you to have a play with.   2. Well I am back from Art in Action very tired but having had a good time. There are lots of pictures on my facebook page including mud, hammers and Touaregs (see below)!?! I will post some more here soon. The shop is open for business again and you can expect some more items including exciting new kits! Watch this space!

  3. So I am off to Art in Action this week, a big art event in the beautiful county of Oxfordshire, to demonstrate some hand embroidery skills! To find out more about this event, visit the events page.

    This means that I will be away from home until Monday the 23rd July and shop items will be unavailable to buy until then. They are, however, still available to browse so have a good look around and the shop will be open for business again on Monday!

    So I am off to pack my wellies and my dinghy, I'll see you in a weeks time! I'll leave you with some umbrella inspired embroidery....
